
The online home STI testing service has now been extended to include counties Longford and Westmeath. Anyone aged 17+ with an address across 24 counties can now order free STI testing kits online at http://SH24.ie
As of 10th August, free home testing is available in the following counties:
- Carlow
- Cavan
- Clare
- Cork
- Donegal
- Dublin
- Galway
- Kerry
- Kildare
- Kilkenny
- Laois
- Leitrim
- Limerick
- Longford
- Louth
- Mayo
- Meath
- Monaghan
- Offaly
- Roscommon
- Sligo
- Tipperary
- Westmeath
- Wicklow
This means that people aged 17 or over, with an address in one of these counties, can order a free STI test to their home. There are a set number of kits available to order per day.
Instructions are provided on how to complete the test kit and a stamped addressed envelope is provided to post the completed test kit back to the lab. Results should be received by phone or text message within 72 hours of the samples arriving at the lab.

This service is integrated with HSE public STI services. If necessary, the SH:24 team will contact you and direct you to a public STI service for free assessment and treatment.
